You’ve thought about it, talked about it even lamented about the extra pounds. Now, it’s time to do something about it. The Health Care Coalition of Lafayette County has launched Wellness Works to help both employers and employees in Lafayette County take charge of their health. And quite frankly, there’s no better time than the present.
How to get started
We’ve made getting started easy. The first step is signing-up. The process does require about five minutes of your time. You will need to ask your employer for your company’s employee code, enter a username and password, agree to the privacy terms of the site, and complete a quick health assessment.
Your identity will never be tied to your assessment as your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Your employer will have access to cumulative data that can be used to justify lower health insurance costs, which can ultimately reduce how much you pay for health insurance.
You will also receive alerts to update your health assessment as the goal is to see cumulative advances, over time, in physical activity hours, weight loss, BMI (body mass index), average systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
